You will learn how people lived during that period, what kind of baths and gyms they visited, how fast food outlets were organized, and whether there were brothels in the city. Well-preserved household items: dishes, lamps, jewelry and furniture, will complement the idea of the life of people in the period of the Roman Empire. Naples is the former capital of the independent kingdom and the capital of the region of modern Italy. It got its name from the Greeks, who founded it in the fifth century BC. For a long time, the city was ruled by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Normans, French, Spaniards, for a short period of time it was even under the rule of the Arabs and Africans, later it became part of the united Italy. The mixture of different peoples and traditions has left its mark on the culture, traditions and architecture of Naples. It was here that pizza was invented, Neapolitan pizza is the best on Earth.

Pompeii – an ancient Roman city located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, was covered with red-hot ash and lava from an erupting volcano in August in 79 AD, destroying all its inhabitants. Buried in ashes, it was forgotten for many centuries. It was first remembered in 1689, when the ruins of a building with the inscription "Pompeii"were accidentally found. The first excavations were started in 1748, and were haphazard in nature. The main task of the excavations was to search for ancient statues on behalf of King Charles VII of Naples. Italian archaeologist Giuseppe Fiorelli led the excavations in 1863. Under the leadership of Fiorelli, the work acquired a scientific approach and a systematic character. During the period of excavations, 3/4 of the territory of Pompeii was excavated. The rest has yet to be excavated, and it is difficult to imagine what discoveries the excavation of the remaining part will bring. In our time, restoration works are being carried out in order to preserve the heritage of the city frozen in time. Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The duration of the tour is calculated from the moment of departure from the meeting place you specified until the moment of your return. When extending the tour, extra hours are paid at the rate of 35 € for each subsequent hour that exceeds the tour time specified when placing the order.
