Pompeii, a rich and prosperous city of the Roman Empire, was buried by the ash and lava of the erupting Vesuvius on August 25 in 79 AD. For centuries it remained buried and forgotten. It was not until 1748 that the first attempts were made to dig it up. The first excavations were conducted haphazardly, their main purpose was to search for art treasures to replenish the collection of the Neapolitan King Charles VII. In 1863, the excavations were led by the archaeologist Giuseppe Fiorelli, under whom the work took a systematic nature with a scientific approach. Restoration work is currently underway, and a fourth of Pompeii's territory has yet to be excavated. One can only imagine what discoveries are waiting for scientists ahead. Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

When ordering a tour, a guarantee payment is paid in the amount of 13% of its cost, the remaining cost of the tour is paid by tourists to the driver at the end of it.

The duration of the tour is calculated from the moment of departure from the meeting place you specified until the moment of your return. When extending the tour, extra hours are paid at the rate of 35 € for each subsequent hour that exceeds the tour time specified when placing the order.
